Teacher Training

Interested in training to learn a multi-sensory teaching approach in reading or math?

This page lists the learning events we know are happening in Kansas and Missouri.

In support of providing appropriate instruction for individuals with dyslexia, The Kansas/Missouri Branch of the IDA is pleased to provide information about multi-sensory training events within our region. While research indicates that multi-sensory methods are most effective for individual with dyslexia, the KS/MO IDA Branch does not endorse or promote any specific program, speaker, or instructional materials because there are a number of them that present the critical components of effective instruction for dyslexics. We do not guarantee any training program, nor do we sanction or in any way endorse the individuals providing the training. The course participant should evaluate the course and the trainer to meet his or her individual needs.

Dedicated to individuals with dyslexia, their families, and the communities that serve them.
